Abstract

1326558 Ventilating textile machine rooms LUWA AG 21 Dec 1970 [31 Dec 1969] 60613/70 Heading F4V [Also in Division Bl] An air cleaning system for a textile machine room 10 comprises air return and supply ducts 12, 14, a first separator 16 which divides the room air stream into a partially filtered main stream and a coarse impurity laden secondary stream, a second separator 26 for cleaning the secondary stream, a final air cleaner 22 and means for supplying the undivided or main stream with a volume of air equal to that of the secondary stream. The replenishing air stream may be fed from the atmosphere or from the separator 26. The temperature and/or humidity of the air flow may be regulated downstream of the cleaner 22, which is a dry filter or a wet scrubber.
