1315378 Photographic silver halide materials EASTMAN KODAK CO 17 Sept 1970 [17 Sept 1969] 44452/70 Heading G2C Photographic silver halide materials contain as an anti-foggant in the emulsion layer or a layer adjacent thereto a compound of the formula: - where n is 1-4, each R is alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, carboxy, aryl, halogen or nitro, provided at least one R is alkoxy, and X is hydrogen, alkyl or heterocyclic group e.g. tetrazolyl, benzothiazolyl and benzoxazolyl.
