Abstract

1310710 Plastics egg container H NOGUCHI 20 July 1970 34993/70 Heading B8P A plastics egg container has integrally hinged main and cover bodies 1, 1<SP>1</SP> each surrounded by a rim 4, 4<SP>1</SP>, tapered projections 7 and resilient convex projections 5 integral with the rim 4<SP>1</SP> and resilient concave projections 6 integral with the rim 4. The tapered projection 7 is weldable to the rim 4; the strength of the weld being such that it is releasable by finger pressure. Further integral projections 9 and 9<SP>1</SP>, positioned between the egg receiving cavities, in combinattion with the projections 5, 6 and 7 maintain a ventilation gap C between the main and cover bodies 1, 1<SP>1</SP>.
