1302295 Disconnecting tool B H GREENSPAN 10 Feb 1970 6316/70 Heading B4W A disconnecting tool for separating mated halves of a multi-pin connector consists of a frame portion A which slidably receives a slide portion B, the free ends of the sides of the portions being bent inwardly and have arcuate cutouts to adequately engage connector locking bolts 322, 324. Springs 388 bias the sliding portion forwardly. Handle assembly 374 and connecting web 326 are telescopic to allow the tool to be adjusted to different sized boards. A spring to bias the sides together is located in handle assembly 374. A transverse push rod 328 is used to help push the sides of the tool apart. Fig. 6 shows a modification where a single plunger 394 slidingly engages a single elongated handle 396 for separation of a connector by engaging flanges 398, 416 with a connector.
