Abstract

1,212,438. Frame connection; clamps. L. OSTHOFF. 10 Dec., 1968, No. 58568/68. Headings E1K and E2B. [Also in Division F2] A frame comprises vertical tubes 1 with holes 2 cut therein and horizontal tubes 4 which has a slot therein (the tube may be of C-cross section). A clamp 3 is slidably engaged in the slot by means of bolt 5. Pressure members 6 and 10 engage the connecting member and when bolt 5 is turned the ends 7 and 8 of the clamp are moved together or separated depending on the direction of movement of the bolt. When separate the ends 7 and 8 engage the inner wall of the vertical tube to connect the horizontal tube thereto.
