Abstract

1281310 Lawn mowers WOLF-GERATE GmbH 19 April 1971 [13 Feb 1970] 21158/71 Heading A1F A hand-propelled motor mower is made predominately of electrically insulating plastics and comprises a bell-shaped casing 18, 20, an inner motor housing 28. and a base plate 10. As shown, the motor 34 is of mains voltage and drives cooling fan 48 and mowing blades 50. The axles 23 of the ground wheels 24 are vertically adjustable in stepped slots 22 which are resilient to allow entry of the axles. A low voltage motor may alternatively be used with the battery stored in the upper part of the casing 18. An I.C. engine may be used. The plastics parts of the mower may be assembled by adhesive or press-fits.
