Abstract

1278017 Moulds for spectacle-frames AMERICAN OPTICAL CORP 17 April 1970 [18 April 1969] 18451/70 Heading B5A A split mould for spectacle frames of flexible, rubbery material has at least one cavity defined co-operatively between the two mould halves, each cavity being upright with its longitudinal dimension vertical, a filling gate at the bottom of the cavity of at least one mould half, a gas vent at the top of the cavity of at least one mould half, means to introduce resin into the cavity and backing means. The mould may be of polyurethane or silicone rubber. It may be made by moulding one half at a time around a model of the spectacle frame.
