Abstract

1276444 Two part couplings BURNDY CORP 7 Aug 1970 [8 Aug 1969] 38190/70 Heading H2E An edge connector for a printed circuit board comprises two stepped interengaging blocks 1 and 4 accommodating rows of pin contacts 3 and bifurcated resilient contacts 6 with pairs of fingers 9, respectively, adapted such that they mate perpendicular to each other in a direction parallel to contacts 6. The printed circuit board is mounted against face 7 of block 1, the portions 14 of the contacts 3 extending through holes in the board and soldered to the board circuit. The contacts 6 are linked to an exterior circuit by wire winding.
