127,223. Imrie, H., (Geigy Soc. Anon, J. R.). March 10, 1919. 2-Aminoanthraquinone is prepared by heating under pressure anthraquinone-2-sulphonic acid with ammonia in presence of calcium chloride together with ammonium, sodium, or magnesium chloride or a mixture of these chlorides.
