Abstract

1,267,893. False twisters. GLANZSTOFF A.G. 8 Sept., 1970 [29 Oct., 1969], No. 42885/ 70. Heading D1D. A false twister comprises a roller I of concave form about which the yarn or monofilament 16 is looped obliquely. The yarn 16 from a delivery roll 12 passes over a guide pin 13 to a heated fixing pin 14 prior to the roller 1 and passes over a stretching godet 15 subsequent to the roller 1. The roller 1 may be mounted for adjustment of its oblique angle, Fig. 3 not shown. The roller is mounted by roller bearings (7), Fig. 2, not shown, on a fixed pin (2) and is provided .with dirt excluding caps (4) and (5).
