Abstract
1,263,021. Steam/hot water boiler. GOTAVERKENS ANGTEKNISKA A.B. 17 April, 1970 [23 April, 1969], No. 18375/70. Heading F4A. A steam or hot water boiler comprising a combustion chamber 10 and at least one adjacent convection chamber 11 (or 12) containing fire tubes 14 fitted between end plates 20, 21 and baffle plates 22, 23 parallel to the end plates, the distance between the end plate nearest the combustion chamber and the baffle adjacent that end plate being less than the distance between adjacent baffle plates. The boiler may have the combustion chamber between two convection chambers 11 and 12, water entering one convection chamber at 17 at an end remote from the combustion chamber, and leaving the other convection chamber at 18, possibly as steam.
