Abstract
1,045,482. Cleaning pipes. J. L. DAVIES. June 4, 1963 [March 1, 1962], No. 8029/62. Heading F2N. [Also in Division F4] A back boiler for domestic fireplaces or stoves has four bent flue pipes 32 passing through the water space 1 and emerging into a duct 7. The pipes 32 contain chains formed from flat plates 37 and normal chain links 38 which chains act as restrictors, and on operation of a damper 34 to which they are connected, as cleaners. Different sorts of chains may be used for different flues and fuels.
