Abstract

126,190. Blair, R. H., and Stevenson & Sons, H. June 4, 1918. Lids and covers. - In cardboard boxes &c., the lid A is attached to the body A<1> through the medium of a flap D, which is formed with a crease or fold C opening outwards and in line with the top edge of the box-body. The lid - edge projects over this crease, and forms a stop to hold the lid at an angle when open. The flap D may be integral with the blank for the box-body; or it may be a separate piece attached to the insides of the lid and of the boxbody. The attachment of the parts may be by wire stitches, adhesive, &c., and the lid-joint may be covered with paper &c.
