Abstract

16,172. Stevenson, A. W. July 14. Folding boxes.-A collapsible box is formed with a folding body portion having strengthening laps or extensions 9, Fig. 2, at its top and bottom edges, and has a lid and bottom provided with rims for embracing the body portion and for holding the box together in the set-up position. The lid is shown as hinged to the body, but may be formed separate like the bottom, as shown in Fig. 3. Both lid and bottom are formed with slots 4, through which tongues 3 on the body portion are passed to hold the parts together.
