Abstract

1,260,815. Portable containers. GRUBERNES SPRAENGSTOFFABRIKER A.S. 9 April, 1970 [15 April, 1969], No. 16857/70. Heading B8D. A set of containers for two component varnishes comprises a large plastics container 1 having an external recess 6, a smaller plastics container 9 conforming to the shape and size of the recess and held therein, and an open mixing vessel 13 push-fitted on to the large plastics container and enclosing the smaller container. The containers are retained together by the engagement of studs 12, Fig. 2 (not shown), which are provided on side walls of a recess in the small container, engaging in downwardlyinclined grooves 8 in the sides of a strengthening rib 7 provided in the recess of the large container. The containers are each provided with pouring spouts having screw closures 5, 10, and the large container is provided with a handle 3. A label adhered across the join between the mixing vessel and the large container together with tear-off sealing of closure 5, Fig. 3 (not shown), provide a check against tampering with the contents of the containers.
