Abstract

1,180,059. Compartmented containers. JOHN WADDINGTON Ltd. 8 Dec., 1967, No. 55927/67. Heading B8D. A container of plastics &c. comprises major and minor bodies 2, 4, forming two compartments for different materials, the bodies being permanently joined by peripheral flanges 2A, 4A. The minor body 4 has a well 8, both well and minor body being pierceable at depressions 10, 12. A lid 6 is secured to the minor portion at 6A and has pierceable depressions 14, 16 aligned with depressions 10, 12. Upon piercing the depressions 10, 14 the two materials are mixed. Depressions 12, 16 when pierced allow the withdrawal of the mixture, e.g. by using a straw. The lid 6 may alternatively be of aluminium foil coated with plastics and the major body 2 may be of glass.
