Abstract
1,254,398. Photographic shutters. HATTORI TOKEITEN K. K. April 10, 1970 [April 26, 1969], No.17196/70. Heading G2A. A shutter blade 5 is driven from a position where it covers an exposure aperture 1a to an open position by impact of a driving lever 7, a cam face 4b of sector lever 4 contacting a projection 19a of a control lever 19 to cause reciprocation of the blade 5 to its initial position. The blade returns unimpeded with the control lever set by rotatable cam 22 as shown to give the shortest exposure time. Engagement of pawl 24 with steplike projections 22b, 22c give successively longer exposure times since on return of sector lever 4, cam surface 4a thereof engages projection 19b of control lever 19, the engagement being destroyed only after rotation of control lever 19 and cam 22 has taken place under action of spring 18. The position of pawl 24 is adjusted manually or by an exposure meter.
