Abstract

1,224,983. Boilers. B. SKELLY. 4 July, 1968 [13 April, 1967], No. 17004/67. Heading F4A. A boiler for central heating and domestic water comprises a main tank 9, Fig. 1, connected to an annular tank 8 around the combustion chamber 2, with connections 13, 14 for a central heating circuit, and domestic water heating means comprising a coil or tank 17 in the tank 9 connected to water containing means 18 in the chamber 8 or combustion chamber 2. In Fig. 1, separate coils 16, 17 in the tank 9 continue as separate spiral coils in chamber 18 which are joined together at 19, the coils having a cold water inlet 20 and hot water outlet 21. In Fig. 2 (not shown), the domestic water heating means comprises a tank (26) in the tank 9 connected to an annular chamber (27) in the combustion chamber 2.
