Abstract

1,220,251. Liquefied gas storage containers. MESSER GRIESHEIM G.m.b.H. 22 April, 1968 [26 April, 1967], No. 18927/68. Heading F4P. The inner vessel 1 of a horizontal cylindrical double-walled cold liquefied gas container is held spaced from the outer shell 3 by tension hands 6 extending between spacer boxes 2 welded to each opposite end of the inner vessel 1 and passing through adjustable eyes of a reinforcement ring 4 extending round the inner face of the outer shell 3. The space between the vessel 1 and shell 3 is evacuated and charged with solid heat-insulating material.
