Abstract

1,219,008. Gas burners. O.PIERFEDERICI. 9 May, 1968, No. 21970/68. Heading F4T. A gas burner, for a top-heated oven, comprises a tubular body (Fig. 1) having a head 1 in the form of a Venturi tube provided with radial air openings 2 for the intake of combustion air from the interior of the oven, a gas injector (Fig. 2) mounted within the tubular body and movable axially relative thereto and a sleeve 5 on the body for fixing the burner to the oven so that in use the burner flame is directed towards the floor of the oven. The sleeve 5 is movable on the body so that the extent to which the burner extends into the oven may be adjusted. The gas injector is secured to a cap 6 which may be screwed up or down to cause relative movement of the injector and the body.
