Percussive drills. - In a percussive drill with means to supply flushing water through a hollow bit, the outlet member 15 of the water conduit 7 is tapered, being preferably of conical form, and is loosely inserted in a passage 13 of corresponding form and having its axis approximately parallel to that of the drill cylinder. The water passes through a channel 12, an annular recess 11, and a passage in the anvil block 3. Leather &c. packings 19 are provided at each side of the recess 11.
