Abstract
1,211,198. Snap-action switches. OTE. HALL Ltd. 10 Nov., 1967 [10 Nov., 1966], No. 50499/66. Heading H1N. A retractive snap-action switch comprises a pivoted contact blade 7 engaged at pivot 17 near its free end by a rocker 15 loaded endwise at pivot 16 by-a spring blade 14 on a fixed pivot 18 and arranged below the pivot 12 of the blade 7, whereby the blade 7 acts at all times to restore the system to the upper (full line) position. Projections 19, 20 in the casing engage the rocker 15 in each of its operative positions and act to reduce contact bounce.
