Abstract
1,088,616. Switches held set and freed mechanically. MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC WORKS Ltd. May 7, 1965 [May 8, 1964], No. 19461/65. Heading H2B. A pivoted control rocker 1 has a projection 2, co-operating with the inverted V-shaped free end of a short blade spring 4, and a projection 3 engaging a switch contact-carrying longer blade spring 5, the springs being fully overlapped (Fig. 5c, not shown). Positive actuation of spring 5 is possible by engaging spring 5 in a slot (a) of projection 3 (Fig. 4, not shown). The rocker 1 is actuated directly by hand (Figs. 2-5, not shown), or by a pivotead hndle having a recess containing a spring-pressed plunger (295) engaging a groove (102) in the rocker (Fig. 6, not shown), or by a dolly piece on the rocker (Fig. 7, not shown), or by two pushbuttons (30), (31), (Fig. 8, not shown). Successive actuation via a button (32) and a control pin (322) is described (Fig. 9, not shown). Two switches are mountable side by side for individual operation (Fig. 10, not shown) or conjoint operation (Figs. 11, 12, not shown). The switch is either normally closed or changeover in action. The rocker 1 is pivotally held by recesses in the body (61) and cover (62) of the casing 6 (Fig. 5c, not shown). The terminals 12, 13, 14 are held by recesses of the cover (62) and body (61). The switch or switches are mounted in a panel (21) by screws (22), (23), (Figs. 5, 7, not shown) or a nut and washer (Figs. 6, 9, not shown).
