Abstract

1,207,203. Display package; boxes. INTERPAT S.A. 24 Dec., 1968 [24 April, 1968], No. 19437/68. Headings B8C and B8P. A display package comprises a flat cardboard base C having an opening D therein, a premoulded blister-type container E heat-sealed at F or otherwise attached to the base to overlie the opening, a groove G being formed by overlapping portions of the container and base, and a cover card H slidable in the groove to close the opening D. The card is removable and permits the contents of the package to be placed in the container after construction thereof, and permits re-use of the container. Holes I and J may be formed in the card and base which correspond when the package is closed and a seal may be placed through the holes, which holes also permit suspension of the package. An opening or slot may be arranged in the card to be positioned upon movement of the card to allow controlled removal of the packet contents, e.g. tablets. The cover card may be of transparent plastics material and provided with opening tabs. On removal of the cards, a series of the packages may be nested for transportation.
