Abstract

1,177,340. Stretcher. W. H. BIDGOOD. 6 Feb., 1967 [16 Feb., 1966], No. 6703/66. Heading A5X. A stretcher comprises side members 1 spaced apart by removable end cross bars 2A and bridged therebetween by removable troughshaped cross bars 2. In a modification, the side members may be spaced apart by collapsible links, see Fig. 2 (not shown). The ends or sides of the side members may be provided with handles. The cross bars may be formed of glass fibre, and may be provided with clamps engageable with the side members.
