Abstract

1,172,750. Delivering sheets. BONNIERFÍRETAGEN A.B. 15 Dec., 1967 [23 Dec., 1966], No. 57226/67. Heading B8R. Folded sheets etc. 10 are delivered singly by a conveyer and dropped between guide plates 12, 13 past a photo-electric detector 14, 15 on to a pivoted tongue 16 which is moved between two portions under the control of a counter actuated by the detector, so that a given number of sheets are fed in turn into two stackers 18, 19, each comprising a bottom place 20 formed with fingers 21 between which project fingers 23 of side walls 22 to support the lower edge of the bundle. When a bundle is complete, the stacker is moved downwards along shafts 34 by pneumatic means controlled by the detector until the fingers 21 release the bundle which falls, guided by vibrating side walls 22, 25 into a compartment 26. Later a stack of bundles are removed by a pneumatically controlled plate 39.
