Abstract

1,158,420. Gas burners. BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK A.G. 7 Dec., 1966 [8 Dec., 1965], No. 54767/66. Heading F4T. A heating tube 7 is provided with a coaxial burner tube 8 and an inner tube 9, the tubes 7 and 8 being supplied with air and fuel gas through pipe connections 3 and 25 respectively, and tube 9 terminating at the burner throat 12 in a conical member 15 supporting a glow plug 17, there being arranged on the outer surfaces of the tubes 8 and 9 annular constrictions 22 and 23 to first increase and then decrease the gas velocities. Openings 26 or tubes, Fig. 2 (not shown), in the burner tube permit the admission of from 5-35% of the air into the burner tube. A thermocouple 24 records the temperature at the burner throat 12.
