A fuel supply system for a burner device for heating the intake pipe of a diesel engine at starting is similar to that of Specification 1,151, 346 but the electromagnetic valve 1 controlling the connection of the burner delivery pipe 4 and the fuel supply 13 is provided with a pressure relief valve 7 through which excess fuel returns to the fuel tank.
