1,148,640. Delivering sheets. RICOH, K.K. 15 Aug., 1967 [29 Aug., 1966], No. 44690/67. Divided out of 1,148,087. Addition to 1,148,087. Heading B6H. [Also in Division G2] A sheet-separating mechanism comprises a disc 4 having peripheral notches 5 and abutments 6, and a two-armed lever 8 pivoted at 7, the mechanism operating as described in Specification 1,148,087. In the present arrangement, the disc is mounted on a rotating shaft 3 by means of a clutch formed by a member 13 urged by a spring 14 into contact with a grooved part of the shaft. Member 13 and spring 14 lie in a radial slot 12 in disc 4, the slot being closed by an adjustment screw 15. By turning screw 15 the frictional force between member 13 and shaft 3 can be varied.
