Abstract

1,143,352. Rotary cultivators. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. 23 June, 1966 [28 June, 1965], No. 28243/66. Heading A1B. A rotary soil cultivating implement comprises blades 6 having inclined cutting edges and attached to a transverse shaft driven through gearing from a tractor power shaft. A screening hood is provided and comprises a grating 12 of spaced arcuate rods 13 which may be replaced by a grating having a different spacing between the rods 13. A smoothing bar 35 is mounted on arms 34 pivoted on the machine. A depth adjusting wheel 29 is provided and is adjusted by means of a crank 25.
