Abstract
1,141,281. Double glazing; P. J. P. RUSSELL, 19 March, 1968 [29 Jan., 1966], No. 4053/66. Heading E1R. The spacer 1 between the panes of a double-glazed window is of flexible plastics or rubber material of rectangular or triangular section which is coated on those sides which make contact with the glass 3" with an adhesive and one or both sheets of glass 3" (in Fig 2) to the window frame 4 by a strip 4' of similar flexible material of triangular section which is coated on those sides which make contact with the frame and glass respectively with an adhesive. In Fig. 2, an existing pane 3' secured to 'the frame 2 e.g. with putty 4 is converted to double glazing by the triangularsection strip 4'. In Figs 1 and 3 rightangledseotion strips secure back pane to the plane inner surface of a frame.
