Abstract

1,130,508. Hook fastenings. G. HOLM. 15 Dec., 1965 [23 Dec., 1964], No. 53267/65. Heading E2A. A device for coupling together a pair of window sashes 1, 2, comprises an anchor member 4 adapted to be mounted on one sash and pivotally carrying an arm 3 adapted for hooking engagement with a locking member 5 adapted to be mounted on the other sash, the anchor member having a socket portion 10 for housing the pivotal end 11 of the arm, the hook 9 and pivot ends 11 of the arm 3 being formed from a resilient plastics material and there being a pin 13 on one of the members for engagement with a hole 14 on the other member when the two sashes are in coupled condition. As shown, the arm is releasably engaged or disengaged from the member 5 by means of a finger piece 15.
