In a workman's trestle comprising parallel uprights 5, 6 engaged telescopically by the legs 11 of a head member 9 and by sockets 18 of triangular feet 3, 4 each socket consists of two halves welded together by flanges 20 and subsequently welded to the tubular sides 17 of the leg. The legs 11 and uprights 5, 6 have a pin and hole adjustment 14.
