Abstract

1,242,538. Scaffolding. K. F. RUSHTON. 14 March, 1969 [15 Dec., 1967], No. 56980/ 67. Heading E1S. In a portable scaffolding unit, rectangular frame members 1, 2 connected in sliding relationship incorporate a ladder, the frame members and associated ladder sections being relatively adjustable by means of a winch 10 and the upper frame member carrying a folding platform 15. Two such units may be connected together at their upper ends (Fig. 2, not shown) and made free standing (Fig. 3, not shown) by bracing members and ground engaging pads (24).
