1,115,478. Discharge lamp circuits. NEW NIPPON ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 11 Aug., 1965 [14 Aug., 1964; 28 Nov., 1964; 9 Dec., 1964], No. 34439/65. Heading H2H. A discharge lamp circuit has voltages of differing but related frequency supplied respectively to the heaters and discharge path to produce an oscillating arc spot on each heater to permit the lamp current to be increased. The heater current may be produced in an inverter fed from the same supply (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown), or a third harmonic accentuating circuit (Fig. 8, not shown).
