Abstract

In a memorandum or like device wherein a strip of paper folded upon itself in zig-zag fashion to form a pack, is housed in a box (Fig. 1), made by folding a single blank of cardboard or plastics material, the box having a window (2) in its upper face (1), the pack 13 is, before insertion in the box, straddled by a separate channel-shaped insert 9 comprising a top 12 and sides 11. The leading, end of the paper strip is pulled from beneath the top 12; of the insert, and the first form length 14 of the strip is located accurately by the sharp edge 10 of the top engaging the fold in the strip. When the insert and pack are then inserted in the box, the top 12 forms a platen to support the form 14- when entries are made thereon through the window (2). To enable the used form 14 to be withdrawn from the box, there is a cut-out 16 in the top 12, and cutouts (15, 17, 18) in the box. The box (Fig. 1), is made from a pre-scoredblank comprising an upper face (1) with window (2), a base (3), sides (4) and end flaps (5, 6 and 7, 8). The upper face (1) has an extension (9) secured to one side (4).
