Abstract
1,101,041. Valves. CHADBURNS (LIVERPOOL) Ltd. 18 June, 1965 [18 June, 1964; 21 Aug., 1964; 16 Feb., 1965], Nos. 25182/64, 34368/64 and 6576/65. Heading F2V. [Also in Divisions A4 and F1] In a dispensing valve opened by means of compressed air supplied through a connection 73, under the control of a press-button valve (18), Fig. 2 (not shown), to the underside of piston 65, the spacing between the tapered valve plug 57 and the bore 56 is determined by an adjustable member 70. The passage 68 in the plug 57 is opened immediately the valve begins to close under the action of spring 67 and prevents drip at the dispensing nozzle 60. A gas eliminator in the inlet connection to a beer dispensing pump (11), Fig. 1 (not shown), comprises a dome 86 which is vented through a pipe 89 under the control of float actuated valve 87.
