Abstract

1,098,866. Electromagnetic relays. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. June 11, 1965 [June 16, 1964], No. 24748/65. Addition to 907,519. Heading H2B. A sealed magnetic contact device as claimed in Claim 1 of the parent Specification has its contact carrying armature 8 extending approximately parallel to the stationary members 6, 7, which it electrically and magnetically connects when energized. The armature 8 is mounted on a biasing leaf spring 1 to which it is fastened at 3, the spring being fastened to the longer stationary member 7 at 2. The armature may be modified to provide twin contacts (Fig. 3, not shown).
