Abstract

1,096,183. Bottle crates &c. MARLEY TILE CO. Ltd. Nov. 26, 1965 [Feb. 4, 1965], No. 4955/65. Heading B8P. A plastics bottle crate etc. has a number of support pillars extending between the base and the upper rim, each pillar being provided at a predetermined point along its length with an inwardly directed set, which when the crate is under a compressive load e.g.. stacked, would tend to cause the pillar to buckle inwardly, and each pillar being provided with one or more bracing members serving to resist such tendency to buckle. It is stated that the crate may be triangular with a pillar at each corner.
