Abstract

1,088,601. Loose covers for seats. CUSTOMAGIC MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd. Feb. 25, 1966 [May 29, 1965], No. 22938/65. Heading A4M. A loose cover for an open-armed chair comprises a seat cover portion 11 with border hems 19 to receive a drawcord (32) beneath the seat, recesses 16 formed between side 15 and front 13 cover flaps to accommodate the front legs of the chair, a back cover pocket 10 sewn to the rear edge of the seat cover 11, gussets 30 secured to the seat and back covers 11, 10 at each side, and elastic straps (33) to secure together gusset extensions 31 behind the seat back and beneath a back flap 27 of the pocket 10. The cover may be of stretch fabric.
