1469088 Upholstered seats ETABS BERTRAND FAURE SA 23 May 1975 [5 June 1974] 23004/75 Heading A4M A vehicle seat has a backrest comprising an open main frame 2 and a squab 1 formed by two parts 4, 5 e.g. of foamed material, disposed back to back, the squab 1 having a first cover 13 the periphery of which extends to the rear of the main frame 2 and is secured by a drawcord 15, and including a second cover 16 stretched over an auxiliary frame 17 secured by wires 18, 19 to horizontal members 7, 8 forming parts of the main frame 2, the second cover 16 being secured by a drawcord 20 and the arrangement being such that the hems containing the drawcords 15, 20 are concealed between the main and auxiliary frames. The second cover 16 may be provided at its lower part with an upwardly open pocket 21.
