1,076,767. Respiratory apparatus. LABORATOIRES GOUPIL S.A. Sept. 14, 1964 [Sept. 13, 1963], No. 37481/64. Heading AST. A portable inhaler for providing a user with oxygen enriched air, comprises a face mask 13 communicating with the atmosphere via perforated walls 12, 7 and 6 and oxygen supply means 1 with pressure release valve 2, which supplies oxygen through a plurality of radiating ducts into the chamber between walls 7 and 12 so that a mixing of air entering through walls 6 and 7, and oxygen occurs by means of the vacuum effect created by the user's breathing and by the Bernoulli effect caused by the admission of oxygen.
