Abstract

1,059,235. Compressors. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS G. m. b. H. June 29, 1964 [July 1, 1963], No.26773/64. Heading FIN. The automatic inlet valve, Figs. 1 and 2 (not shown), of a reciprocating compressor having a bore (2) in a cylinder block (1) comprises a lamina (9) clamped at one end between a bridge portion (8) of a compressible cylinder block gasket (5) and a valve plate (4) having an inlet opening (3). One end of the plate (9) is secured to the cylinder block (1) by pins (10) extending through an opening (7) in the gasket (5), and the other end is provided with a projection (11) extending into a stepped cavity (12) in the cylinder wall.
