1,059,097. Vibratory mechanisms. MINISTERUL TRANSPORTURILOR SI TELECOMUNICATILOR, RUMANIA. June 2, 1964 [June 7, 1963], No. 22700/64. Heading F2X. A vibrator for compacting and pile driving &c. comprises two pairs of oppositely rotating three-phase asynchronous motors 1, 3 at rightangles with eccentric end weights 5. The upper pair of motors 3 rotate at twice the speed of the other pair to produce a cyclically variable linear vibratory force. The eccentric weights may be axially adjusted to produce an oscillatory couple about an axis perpendicular to the motor axes.
