Abstract

1,045,173. Container closures. PHILLESCOPE Ltd. June 5, 1964 [March 9, 1963], No. 9455/63. Heading B8T. A combination stopper and pourer which makes sealing engagement with the rim of the aperture in the top 13 of a container has two passages 14, 16 which are covered by a removable cap 17 of flexible material. Passage 14 has a relatively small circular cross-section and extends to a cranked tube 15. Passage 16 is of greater cross-sectional area and is convexconcave shape in plan. In use, cap 17 serves as a seal and is peeled off by means of the integral finger-piece 20 to permit pouring.
