Abstract
1,022,148. Boxes. ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH) Ltd. Jan. 29, 1965 [Feb. 7, 1964], No. 5244/64. Heading B8P. A rectangular-shaped box for displaying a toothbrush or the like is folded up from a blank having score lines 11 to make four side-panels 12-14, 16 and a sealing tab 17, with tuck-in flaps 18, 19, 21 at the ends, one of the tuck-in flaps having an extension 25, 26 which is folded back twice upon score lines 11 into the box so that a slit 27 forms a ledge to support the head of the toothbrush &c., Fig. 2 (not shown). A hole 15 in the side-panel 14 and partly in the side-panels 13, 16, through which the toothbrush &c. is displayed, has at its inner edge a tab 20 folded down towards the opposite sidepanel 12, two wings 23 on each side of the tab then lying along the side-panels 13, 16. A short slit 21 in the end of the tab 20 allows two small triangular flaps to be bent back along score lines 22, thus constituting a resilient support for the handle of the toothbrush &c. The box may be wrapped in transparent film.
