Abstract
1,016,099. Nestable and stackable containers. BRODERNA NORDGREN A.B. Dec. 12, 1963 [March 28, 1963], No. 49092/63. Heading B8P. Nestable and stackable containers 1 have handles 3 pivoted at 4, which handles when turned inwardly act as supports for the stacked containers, and when turned outwardly and downwardly contact the upper edge of a container placed thereunder thus to prevent jamming when the containers are nested (Fig. 3, not shown). The handles have lugs 5 which prevent transverse movement of the containers when stacked, and longitudinal movement of the stacked containers is prevented by ribs 6. When the containers are nested the lugs 5 prevent pivotal movement of the handles about their point of contact with a lower container.
