A glazing, or other panel mounting structure to accommodate panels 20 of different thicknesses comprises an extruded profiled section plastics or metal sash bar 16 having a plurality of spaced ribs A-D and E-H each having an enlarged head and at least one profiled section glazing strip 8, 9, having a rib I or L also with an enlarged head, for insertion in any one of the grooves formed by the ribs A-H and having inturned end flanges 12, 13 to rest upon the sash bar 16 when one side of the profiled section strip 11 rests against the panel 20.
