Abstract
1,005,864. Haymaking machines. J. W. VAN DER WOUDE. Dec. 18, 1962 [Dec. 29, 1961], No. 47788/62. Heading AlF. A rotary-drum tedder is provided with tray-like guide-surfaces at its discharge side for funnelling the crop into a windrow, the guide-surfaces having vertical cheeks 15 and inclined faces 14. The tedder is mounted on vertically-adjustable wheels 9 and has tine-bars 12 rotating about a shaft 13 within a hood which overlaps the guide-surfaces. The surfaces 14 extend inside the hood almost to the path of the tines.
