Abstract

La présente invention concerne le garnissage réfractaire de la cuve des hauts fourneaux. Conformément à l'invention, ce garnissage est réalisé, au moins en ce qui concerne sa couche de surface interne 2, avec des briques de carbone dont les pores ont des dimensions reduites par formation dans ceux-ci d'un composé Si-N-O. L'invention réduit l'infiltration de la fonte fondue et prolonge la durée de vie des briques du garnissage.
